LCDDensity Fakes a Higher Resolution on Your Rooted Android Phone [Downloads]

Android: If you find that you're doing too much scrolling on your phone, free app LCDDensity will artificially let you increase your resolution, making browsing and menu navigation a snap.

If you've rooted your phone, you can just download LCDDensity from the Market and use it to change the appearance of your phone with a simple slider. Slide it to the left and your phone will appear to have a larger resolution, with smaller icons, more pictures per page in the Gallery app, and so on. If you use ADW or LauncherPro's ability to fit more icons on your home screen, this should also help make things a little less cramped-looking. It may seem weird at first, but I've found a very mild increase in resolution makes browsing quite a bit easier on my phone, and navigating things like the Android Market are nicer too:
