iPhone / iPad Mail Creates Deleted Messages and Drafts Label on Gmail

When using Mail app of iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to access Gmail, occasionally additional labels named Deleted Messages and Drafts will be created on Gmail web interface (and on subsequent IMAP access).

The additional labels with the name of Deleted Messages and Drafts are created by iOS Mail app to store and hold deleted emails and drafts respectively, when the default Gmail IMAP folders for deleted messages and drafts, namely Trash and Drafts are not been made available to IMAP service.

Note: The Mail app is configured to delete Gmail emails and not archive Gmail messages, which otherwise would cause the mails to be sent to All Mails folder.

To fix the issue, just make sure that the Trash and Drafts folders of Gmail is visible on IMAP, and that iPhone, iPad or iPod touch Mail app is been configured to use the Gmail’s folders as the destination for deleted messages and drafts.

Troubleshoot Volume Activation error codes and error messages on Windows

If you are trying to activate your copy of Windows using the Multiple Activation Key (MAK) or the Key Management Service (KMS) to perform Volume Activation on one or more on Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista-based computers, but find that you get an error code and message, then this article may help you.

 

The following is the list of Volume Activation error codes and error messages which one could get while trying to activate Windows:

0xC004C003 The activation server determined the specified product key is blocked.

0xC004B100 The activation server determined that the computer could not be activated.

0xC004C008 The activation server determined that the specified product key could not be used.

xC004C020 The activation server reported that the Multiple Activation Key has exceeded its limit.

0xC004C021 The activation server reported that the Multiple Activation Key extension limit has been exceeded.

0xC004F009 The software Licensing Service reported that the grace period expired.

0xC004F00F The Software Licensing Service reported that the hardware ID binding is beyond level of tolerance.

0xC004F014 The Software Licensing Service reported that the product key is not available

0xC004F02C The software Licensing Service reported that the format for the offline activation data is incorrect.

0xC004F035 The software Licensing Service reported that the computer could not be activated with a Volume license product key. Volume licensed systems require upgrading from a qualified operating system. Please contact your system administrator or use a different type of key.

0xC004F038 The software Licensing Service reported that the computer could not be activated. The count reported by your Key Management Service (KMS) is insufficient. Please contact your system administrator.

0xC004F039 The software Licensing Service reported that the computer could not be activated. The Key Management Service (KMS) is not enabled.

0xC004F041 The software Licensing Service determined that the Key Management Server (KMS) is not activated. KMS needs to be activated.

0xC004F042 The software Licensing Service determined that the specified Key Management Service (KMS) cannot be used.

0xC004F050 The Software Licensing Service reported that the product key is invalid.

0xC004F051 The software Licensing Service reported that the product key is blocked.

0xC004F064 The software Licensing Service reported that the non-Genuine grace period expired.

0xC004F065 The software Licensing Service reported that the application is running within the valid non-genuine grace period.

0xC004F066 The Software Licensing Service reported that the product SKU is not found.

0xC004F068 The software Licensing Service determined that it is running in a virtual machine. The Key Management Service (KMS) is not supported in this mode.

0xC004F069 The Software Licensing Service reported that the computer could not be activated. The Key Management Service (KMS) determined that the request timestamp is invalid.

0xC004F06C The Software Licensing Service reported that the computer could not be activated. The Key Management Service (KMS) determined that the request timestamp is invalid.

0×80070005 Access denied the requested action requires elevated privileges.

0x8007232A DNS server failure.

0x8007232B DNS name does not exist.

0x800706BA The RPC server is unavailable.

0x8007251D No records found for DNS query.

0×80092328 DNS name does not exist.

Forward Urgent Emails to Your Cell Phone as Text Messages

So, I wanted to write today about something I recently did, and for me was kind of cool and exciting.

I have tons of email addresses.  I have my work email, 3 personal emails, and a bunch of personal business email addresses.  I get flooded with messages every day to say the least.

I noticed the other day that I get a daily email that is very time sensitive, and if I can read the email right away when it is sent to me, I can capitalize on some opportunities.  The email usually comes into my Inbox around the same time each day, but I’m a busy guy, I forget what time it is, I don’t always go in and check for it right away.  And my schedule doesn’t permit me to sit in Gmail and keep hitting refresh.

You might have a similar situation.  No matter what the reason, if you have an email that comes from a certain person or business, or has a certain subject line, you can forward those emails to your cell phone as text or MMS messages, so you’ll be instantly notified once the email comes in.

Send Email Account Messages to Separate Folders in Micrsoft Outlook

A lot of people these days have multiple emails. You have your personal email address, maybe even two or three. And you might also have your work email.

It’s nice to be able to divide up the emails so they go into separate folders. For instance, if you are setting up your Outlook email at work, you may not want your personal emails to mix in with the work because you don’t want to be distracted. But it would be nice if your personal mail went into a different folder and you could check it later.

This is actually pretty easy to do. If you already have multiple email accounts setup in Outlook, just follow these steps to automatically send messages intended for different email accounts to different folders:

Once you have your email accounts setup, go to Tools > Rules and AlertsNew Rule(Start from a black rule) Check messages when they arriveCheck the box next to “with specific words in the recipient’s address”In the window below, click on the “specific words” link and enter one of the email accounts. Then click Add. Click OKClick NextCheck the “move it to the specified folder” box.In the window below, click on the “specified” link and highlight the folder you want that email account’s messages to go into. Click OK.Click Next.Click Next.Check “Run this rule now on messages already in Inbox”Click Finish
