A new service which comes with iCloud is Find My Friends, which allows a user to locate friends and family members who shared their location with the user from iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. The Find My Friends native app has been released on iTunes App Store, though to use the service, users have to upgrade to iOS 5 or later.

If you want to hide your friend completely from your Facebook profile without unfriending him/her then, Eternal Sunshine is the only option.

Eternal Sunshine is an extension for Google chrome that removes friends from view on Facebook pages without unfriending them. As we told in the above point, the hide feature in facebook, only affects items in the news feed. “Hidden users” still appear in profile updates, profile photo updates, suggested albums, friend finder suggestions, etc.
