How to Broadcast Slideshow Online Using PowerPoint 2010

During a virtual presentation, the presenter usually sends out the PowerPoint file to the audience in advance or use web conferencing tool such as WebEx, Microsoft Live meeting and etc. However, virtual presentation can be simpler by just using the SlideShow Broadcast feature in Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 without the need to send the PPT file or to share it via web conferencing tool. The only pre-requisite for using this feature is the Windows Live ID. On the other hand, the participating audience will then be able to watch the presentation by just using the web browser.

Here are the steps to broadcast a presentation to the web using PowerPoint 2010:

Make sure you have completed your PPT presentation as changes is not permitted during the broadcast.Click at “Broadcast Slide Show” option from the “Slide Show” ribbon.

PowerPoint BroadCast SlideShow feature lets you give presentations over the internet

Microsoft PowerPoint presentations are the most preferred options when it comes to giving presentations to an  audience. We usually give presentations in closed rooms, etc, but Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 allows you to give presentations over the internet too!

Embed PowerPoint presentations and Excel sheets in your Blog or Website

Apart from making Office Web Apps available in 7 more countries, Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Russia, and Switzerland, in addition to  US, UK, Canada, and Ireland, Microsoft today introduced a new feature whereby you can now embed PowerPoint presentation or Excel spreadsheet in a blog or website.

The following embedded PowerPoint presentation walks you through the actual steps for embedding a PowerPoint presentation or Excel file in a blog post:

This will allow your visitors to view a page through a mini version of the slides or view in full screen. For example, you might embed a PowerPoint presentation of photos from your last vacation, share slides from a lecture or talk that you enjoyed, or broadcast your knowledge of a special subject.

You can also embed Excel charts and data in a blog or website the same way.

Here’s an example of an embedded Body Mass Index (BMI) calculator, using the Excel Web App. Enter your own height and weight to find out your BMI:
